Pharmaceutical Prescriptions

In 2009, Naturopathic physicians in BC were granted prescriptive authority, giving Naturopaths the option to upgrade their license in order to prescribe certain pharmaceutical medications.  This allows Naturopathic physicians to provide patients with a broader scope of care and more integration with medical doctors.


We are currently licensed to write pharmaceutical prescriptions within our scope of practice.
