Frequently Asked Questions About Acupuncture

How Long Will An Acupuncture Visit Take?
You will be in the clinic for about an hour.  Acupuncture needles are left in for about 30 minutes.

What to Expect After Your Acupuncture Visit?
You may feel an increase or decrease in energy.  Take your time leaving.  Typically it takes 4-6 weekly treatments to see a sustained effect but it varies with condition.

How Often Should I Come for Community Acupuncture?
At least 5 consecutive weekly treatments should be done; however, it varies between conditions.  If you miss a week that’s okay still come in when you can.  If you really enjoy Acupuncture come as often as you like.  After your initial symptoms improve you can see how you do without it and come back in for maintenance once per month.
